In early October 2023, a casual conversation between Kacy Miller and Suellen Nichols sparked the inception of The Well Rockport. Kacy's initial idea for a mom support group collided with Suellen's vision of a women's shelter, born from her own past experiences and a profound calling to help others. Their shared enthusiasm quickly transformed into a concrete mission.
"Let's do it," Kacy declared, and thus began a journey marked by research, determination, and divine guidance. As they continued to work on their project, they found themselves connecting with individuals who shared their passion and brought valuable expertise to the table.
Over the next six months, their two-person dream blossomed into a full-fledged nonprofit organization. With a dedicated board, each bringing unique skills and perspectives, The Well Rockport has taken shape rapidly. Now, as they prepare for their inaugural Gala in December, the founders reflect on their whirlwind journey with pride and anticipation, ready to make a lasting impact on women's lives in their community.
